The boundaries are Northern Boulevard to the north, The Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to the west, Roosevelt Avenue to the south, and Junction Boulevard to the east.

Travers Park can be found between 77th and 78th Streets, on the north side of 34th Avenue. This is where the IRT Flushing Line (7) meets the IND Queens Boulevard Line (E F G R V) and many bus routes at the 74th Street-Broadway hub. This is the largest subway stop in Queens. The Long Island Rail Road in Woodside is also nearby on 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
